Today's video is mostly a drive-through, because … well … that is what we did! But like all the other parks we visited, we could have spent weeks here. We hope that some of the grandeur of this unique area comes through as we continue to explore the dramatic and other-worldly terrain of southern Utah.

We met a young lady at the laundromat who seemed to be very outgoing and willing to share her passion for helping youth at risk. What a blessing it would be to hear about similar programs that not only teach young people to see their own potential, but also to be connected with Christ, the best source of identity, purpose, and hope.

We leave Kanab and travel to and through Bryce Canyon National Park. The views are outstanding and truly display the handywork of our Creator God. The uniqueness of Bryce Canyon is a drawing card or many tourists and nature lovers. Come with us and see for yourself.

Kanab UT is a very small but unusual town with a long history. Over 300 movies and TV shows were filmed here, so far. Be sure to visit "Little Hollywood" on the way to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

Once occupied by Paiute Indians, the Mormans in 1850 settled the region and named the area Zion, which means " a place of refuge!" It also refers to Israel, and especially the city of Jerusalem. There are many features with Biblical names in the park: such as, Great White Throne, Court of the Patriarchs, Angel's Landing, and The Watchman. From Michigan to Montana, after nine days and about 1800 miles of driving across US-2, the northernmost route, we arrived at Glacier, a place that for many years we had dreamed of seeing. And even though part of the park was closed, this dramatic and inspiring masterpiece of nature did not disappoint. Around every bend and along every trail we gasped in wonder at the heights and depths of this awesome work of God. Join us as we attempt to share just a little of that experience.

The final segment of our nine days of travel along US-2 toward Glacier National Park. Crossing from North Dakota into Montana, we spend two more days driving across the plains, with stops at Glasgow, Fort Peck Dam and Lake, Saco, Chinook, Havre, Shelby, and Cut Bank. After our 700-mile trek across Montana, we arrive at the west entrance to Glacier at Apgar.

Fortified with a van-life breakfast, we search for an elusive field of sunflowers. Leaving Minnesota, we explore Grand Forks, North Dakota, then head across the plains toward the geographic center of North America at Rugby, ending the day at the Scandinavian Heritage Park in Minot.
