Mom didn’t write every day, but I thought I’d record this short account I found in a little notebook. She started this when she was 50 years old, and prayed for all of her children, and little Marti, her niece.

Col. 4:15 “Let the peace of God rule in your hearts to the which also ye are called in one body, and be ye thankful.”
Help me to be truly thankful for all your blessings and even the testings which come my way. “Not my will but thine be done” in all things.
“Praise to the Lord the Almighty, the king of creation. Oh my soul praise him for he is my king and creation.”

Deut. 33:27 “The Eternal God is thy refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee and shall say, ‘Destroy them.’”
Art thou sunk in depths of sorrow
Where no arm can reach so low?
There is One whose arms almighty
Reach beyond they deepest woe.
God the Eternal is thy refuge.
Let it still thy wild alarms.
Underneath thy deepest sorrow
Are the everlasting arms. - A.B. Simpson
Jesus came to me today and delivered me from all my doubts.

There’s a sweet sweet spirit in this place
And I know it’s the spirit of the Lord
Come holy spirit, sweet heavenly dove
Stand close beside us, filling us with thy love.
All to Jesus I surrender, All to Him I freely give.
I will only love and trust Him, in His presence daily live.
Moment by moment I’m kept in his love.
Moment by moment I’ve light from above.
Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine,
Moment by Moment, oh Lord I am thine.
Steve’s Birthday

Thank you for his life and what it means to us as parents and use him to spread Christ to the uttermost part of the world—wherever you lead. May he continue to listen to you and have a tender heart and love for the lost.

Psalm 100
Garry learned this in pre-school and how I praise thee Lord that he was called and was willing to go when God called. Bless him and Ilene today and Bonnie’s little family as they spend a day of Thanksgiving away from the family. Make us a blessing to Ruth and Vic’s family as we gather together on Thursday.

Isaiah 40:30-31 “Even the youths shall be exhausted and the young men will all give up. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They will mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint.”
Meet the physical needs of those who are cast down and discouraged today. Especially Mrs. Rose in her illness, Mrs. White’s sister, Grandma Beitner, and others. The Wycliffe families, the Loyds, Dawn Gammon, so many who need encouragement. Surround them with thy Holy Spirit.
Thurs. Nov. 30, 1972
Psalms 61:2-4 “From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the Rock that is higher than I. For thou has been a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in thy tabernacle forever. I will trust in the shelter of thy wings.”
Satan cannot touch my heart while I’m living in the Glory of the Holy Spirit’s presence. Be with Garry and Bonnie’s families and meet each need in their hearts and lives. Give Dot true peace and assurance of thy love.

“Beautiful day”—Have thy way today Lord in every situation. Keep our eyes and hearts on thee and thee alone. Give us patience and victory over circumstances which can be so frustrating. Especially the cat. Show us thy will regarding our trip to Texas and preparations to be made. Lead and guide that we may be a blessing to some one today. Meet those who sorrow or are on beds of pain and suffering.

May my life be lost in thee and show thy love to all my loved ones and friends. May Christ alone be glorified and honored in all I do and say. Thank you Jesus for all your love and blessings—May I trust and obey as you lead and guide me moment by moment. Take this day and use it for thy glory.

Isa. 12:2 “See, God has come to save me! I will trust and not be afraid for the Lord is my strength and song. He is my salvation.”
“Just to let my Father do what He will.
Just to know that He is true and be still;
Just to follow hour by hour as He leadeth
Just to draw the moment’s power as it needeth
Just to trust Him this is all
Then the day will surely be
Peaceful, whatso’er befall.
Bright and blessed, calm and free
